How Did You Start Making Candles

My journey into candle making began in 2019 when I crafted a few special candles for my mom, sister, and sister-in-law to celebrate Mother's Day. The joy of creating something unique and personal for my loved ones was incredibly fulfilling. I found immense pleasure in sharing these handmade creations, which sparked a delightful chain reaction as they began to share my candles with their friends and family. This organic growth led to the birth of MiCasa, a brand that embodies the warmth and love of home.

As word spread about my candles, I took the leap into participating in small vendor shows, which allowed me to connect with a broader audience. Each event was an opportunity to showcase my passion and creativity, and I was thrilled to see the positive response from customers. Over time, my dedication paid off, and I have proudly sold over 1,500 candles to date. Each sale represents not just a transaction but a connection with someone who appreciates the art of candle making.

Throughout this journey, my candles and branding have evolved significantly. I have experimented with various jar styles and packaging options to enhance the overall experience for my customers. Most recently, in September 2024, I transitioned from a clear 8 oz jar to a sleek white 10 oz jar featuring a charming wooden lid. This change reflects my commitment to quality and aesthetics, ensuring that each candle not only smells wonderful but also looks beautiful in any setting.
